Who do you work with?

I work in a holistic way, looking at all aspects of your life and in particular, any areas that you may be having difficulty with.

I have extensive experience working with:

Family and Relationship issues
Depression
Self esteem and lack of self confidence
Anxiety and stress
Bereavement
Addictions including alcohol abuse
Work problems
Living with chronic illness


How many sessions do I need?

Clients are unique and their needs are different. I may work with you for a limited time period of about six sessions if you want to work on a specific issue such as redundancy, bereavement, or managing change. I also provide psychotherapy for more complex problems you may have and this could mean working over a longer period of time.

Do you have appointments available early morning or after work?

I offer day, evening and some weekend appointments.

How long does a session last?

Sessions are 50 minutes and are usually weekly. The number of sessions will depend on your particular needs and we can discuss this in more detail when we meet.

What are your fees?

My fees are £45 per session.

I am a registered counsellor with Retail Trust, if you work in retail, you may be able to get financial assistance. For further information you can contact www.retailtrust.org.uk

How do I know if my therapist is properly qualified?

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). (www.bacp.co.uk) and a registered member of the UK Register of Counsellors (UKRC) and a member of the Association for Coaching (AC). These regulating bodies have a rigorous training criteria and a binding code of ethics/professional conduct.
